“For those who don’t know, Lyon is considered the Gastronomic Capital of the World. It is also the hometown of my husband, and his mother. This was the first time (but not the last) we took a tour in a city we were already familiar with, which put a bit more pressure on our tour guide Eillin. I am pleased to say she rose to the challenge as we all had an amazing time and even the locals learned a little about their city.
Eillin did a great job covering what makes Lyon a unique city food wise, giving us the history of different areas, pointing out some notable architecture, but it didn’t feel like a history tour. Everything had a very much a LOCAL feel.Thank you so much Eillin for a wonderful time!!!”
